Dave Sanders

Dave Sanders launched the Mormon Renegade podcast in 2022 to defend the original teachings of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.

Dave first ran into the Missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (often called, “LDS” or “Mormons”) as a teenager in a small town in Idaho.

Soon after, Dave was handed a stack of anti-Mormon literature with information on Mormonism the missionaries and the bishop couldn’t explain.

Thankfully, an old patriarch in the area had answers to all his difficult questions…

Dave’s love for the deeper doctrines and obscure history of the Mormon Church began at the beginning of his journey into Mormonism.

For 15 years, he worshipped weekly in the LDS Temple and even served as Elder’s Quorum President and in the Bishopric…

Now, as an independent Mormon, happily married with 2 wives, 6 children, and several grandchildren, his experiences give him insight that makes his perspective unique from other pro-Mormon podcasts online.

Following in the footsteps of one of his heroes, George Washington, Dave is a surveyor with 20 years of experience. Mapping land by day, he enjoys mapping out the peculiar doctrines of Mormonism by night.

Always ready to share his love for Brother Joseph, Brother Brigham, and our Savior – Dave’s vision is firmly grounded in the principles of the restoration making the conversation helpful to active LDS members, fundamentalists, and those questioning their faith.
